Yevhen Shtendera:

Extract from Nerv's letter

This excerpt from a letter informs about losses on both sides during the attack on Hrubeshiv and the two-day skirmishes with NKVD troops and Polish police and military formations. There was no information about NKVD losses in the barracks, because the NKVD did not let anyone come near. There was also a lack of complete information about WiN losses and enemy losses in the installations attacked by WiN, because the UPA had not yet had a meeting with its "allies". The UPA had eight men killed and 12 wounded, including two SB members killed in the town, three men killed in the Terebinka forest and three killed in the May 29 skirmishes, including one UPA soldiers and two SB members.
